Pricing for Tailored Web Design
Our fees are project based. When you contact Tailored Web Design
for an initial consultation we will listen to your needs and
discuss the ways your company could benefit from the web.
If you decide to continue with the process a formal written
proposal including pricing will be prepared.
The formal proposal for developing your site will outline
the goals and content of your new site, and serve as our contract
to complete the work once everything is agreed. The charges
included in the proposal fall into three categories.
- Initial setup fees
- Monthly hosting and maintenance
- Contracted project price
Initial setup fees
The initial setup fees will very depending on whether you
already have a domain name and what special features such
as E-commerce shopping carts or database functions your site
requires. Standard initial setup is $100 which includes registering
your domain name for two years and reserving your web hosting
space. The setup fees are due at contract signing.
Monthly hosting and maintenance
Monthly hosting and maintenance packages include:
- Space for your website (www.YOURDOMAIN)
- YOURDOMAIN Email accounts
- Text changes to existing pages
- Search Engine Optimization
- Search Engine Monitoring
Since it is important for your site to be easy to find on
the Internet, our designs include features to make your site
compatible with the major search engines, and our hosting
includes monthly checks to see if your site needs to be resubmitted
to the search engines and directories being monitored. The
charges depend on the overall size and traffic of the site
as well as how many keywords you choose to have monitored
and range from $50-$250 with most from $75-$100. The first
months hosting fee is due on contract signing.
Contracted project price
The contracted project price which is quoted in the formal
proposal is paid in two installments. One half is due at contract
signing and the other half when the project is complete as
outlined in the proposal.
